IC20 and inline 320 chlorinator

My system has an IC-20 and an inline 320. I moved in 6 months ago and haven’t touched the 320. Didn’t even know it existed until today.

I don’t even know if the valve is open to the 320 or closed. (I haven’t been back down to look)

Is there any benefit to having a 320 inline with a SWG? This seems redundant and pointless with a SWG.

I’m inclined to just leave the 320 closed and pretend it doesn’t exist.

Agreed. There is no need for the 320 Chlorinator. If the opportunity occurs in future, remove it from your plumbing.
You can remove the hose and replace with pipe plugs to ensure no flow through it.
If you need to use pucks for any reason then it is best to use a floater in the pool.
