Hi All-

I noticed an increase in our water bills the last couple of months and just started investigating yesterday. Not sure if the increase was due to more normal usage or something else. The only thing I could find using water at the time was the pool auto filler and decided to do a bucket test. With the pump and filler off, the pool lost about a 1/2" of water and the bucket lost about a 1/4" from 5PM to 5PM and an 80 degree day in Phoenix, AZ. Any ideas how significant this is and what my next trouble shooting steps should be? Let it continue to drop below the skimmer or try a dye test? Thanks!

Turn off the autofill and let the water level drop and see where it stabilizes.

See if water is lost with the pump on or off.

Typical problem areas are around the skimmer, lights, or returns.
