Hey folks, just returned from being out of town all week and ran some testing.
Here is what my test show using a Taylor 2006K
FC 3.5
CC 0
PH 7.4
TA 70
CH 250
CYA 55-60
Water is perfectly clear
I lowered my PH prior to going out of town to 7.2 so my TA would drop (was 100). My TA is now pretty good at 70ppm, except my PH did NOT come back up despite having 2 surface bubblers and a sheer descent. Should I add soda ash or will it come up naturally (just slower than i expected)?
Also, I need to bump my FC up to 6ppm or so because of my CYA level. Is that correct?
Lastly, I did get some CH increaser that I will add later today. 50% of the called for amount and then retest before adding more.
Thoughts on this plan?
