my pool is 25' x 45' 10 feet deep in the deep end 4' in the other end--did i mis-calaulte?

What shape is it? i.e oval, rectangular, kidney, etc. Also, how much is 4 ft deep and how much is 10 ft? Is a smooth transition between?
Okay I found your pic in your first thread. That does not look 25 by 45 to me...are you certain?
Yeah, unless you have a new pool, your pic from last year does not show a 25x45. A lot of people here are trying to help you but your lack of accuracy makes it very, very difficult to provide you correct advice. The procedures we teach for pool water chemistry are all based on CAREFUL testing and learning to understand what you are testing for and what to do about the results.
If you are serious about getting a grip on your pool chemistry, you will have to be more careful about the posts you make......it is quite confusing.

yes i measured it when i first got the house-its also 10' deep at the deep end-but fyi i found out my cy reading was wrong do to a lot of dead alge floating in the water-
