I love hair nets (for my skimmer basket)

Ordered 100 hair nets (the 3M solid type) for my skimmer basket - someone talked about it here - and it's wonderful for small junk, and keeping it out of my filter this spring.

I replace when it gets gross - and I should be good for the season with my bounty. I recommend it - even in Canada where our pricing is higher, I think it cost $12 and definitely less than $20. SURE they sell pool ones, but these work and are way cheaper.

Agree HeidiP, they are very handy and do a great job of helping keep things pretty tidy. I buy trash bags knowing full well I am going to throw it away. lol

Hah! Good parallel. Definitely less waste than having to backwash more often and waste chemicals and water.

I use the same hair nets...I change them out once a week after cutting the grass

That’s what I did. And I put my skimmer rock on top, to keep net from floating up when pump is off.

I don’t see why not. They are made to fit all head shapes!

Actually, it isn’t just your everyday rock. I went to Nova Scotia last year and collected it at the Bay of Fundy!
