Hurricane

Welcome to the forum - wish it was under better circumstances.

Do you have a test kit? You must have a TF100 (TFTestkits.net) or Taylor K2006C to properly SLAM Process your pool.

Until you get the kit you should add 1 gallon of plain, non splashless, non scented, 8.25% bleach in the pool each day. And continue cleaning out any material you can with a net.

Once you get the kit, come back to the forum and post up your test results and we can help you devise a plan to clear your pool.

Take care.

Great. You do need the powder to test your FC. So if you can get the rest of your tests done and post them that will be a start.

Please fill out a signature when you can. Pool School - Read This BEFORE You Post

Also -- S Texas is fairly broad. Any chance of a city?

PH 7.8
CYA 20 (or less)
Showing no chlorine- added one gallon today
Upon further inspection, I lost more pieces to my kit so I will reorder a new one and post results soon.
Thanks for the signature link, I will do that
As for city, updated-
Rockport, TX

Thank you. Heard of that city. Glad you are getting on your feet. Tough thing to go through. But when you live on the Gulf Coast, it is something that could happen.

Get your CYA up to 30 or so when you can. The FC will get eaten pretty fast by the UV from the sun.

Good luck. Take care.
