How to work full-time while starting up pool?

Does anyone have any tips on how to SLAM when you’re not home for a good chunk of the day?
Start on the weekend. (Or your weekend if it's rotating shift like).

But whatever the actual day is, come home from work and hit it as many times as you can before bed on Friday. Plan on being mostly around on Saturday. You can get away for 2 to 3 hours if need be. Go deep into Saturday night. By Sunday, it should hold for 4 to 6 hours, and be much easier to do some things in between dosing. By Monday it'll easily be holding 8 to 12 hours, plenty of time to be back at work. At that point, it'll mostly be a filtering battle. Bush and vac every evening, and wait for the filter to remove all the dead algae.

Thank you! Having a plan laid out like that is helpful. This school year has fried my brain, and having a set routine to follow is very helpful. Summer break can’t get here soon enough!

Would adding a gallon around lunch be good? My mom comes by the house then to feed my dog.
Any help is better than no help. This is 2024 and you can FaceTime and walk her through the simple FC test. Then tell her to add half (?) a gallon of bleach.

If it helps any, it takes about 3 days of summer for every parent in the land to fully understand what the poor teacher went through that year.
