How to remove jets in inground spa

New pool owner trying to remove cloged jet in pool spa. Removed the nozzel and found a plastic socket end deep in the wall. Appears to be 5/8". Got a wrench and extension and turned the jet nut counterclockwise. It just keeps on spinning but does not come out. The jet hole is in the middle of the nut and I can see a blockage. How do I get the jet out for cleaning?

There are two types of nozzles either threaded or twist locked, if you turn CCW continuously, you may have wrong socket on it try 9/16, if it is twist lock just a quarter turn will unlock. Sometimes you can remove attached to the socket otherwise if you think it is loose try turning on the spa jets and it will blow out
