I have decided to hardwire my iQ900 to a network rather than rely on its unreliable wireless connection. However, I am having trouble figuring out how to create the exit hole for the ethernet cable.
I found something on their website that says it has a "break-away piece." But I didn't see anything that looks like it is designed to be removed. I did notice this little square notch in the attached photo but it does not look like it can be cleanly broken off without damaging the housing. It is hard plastic all around and doesn't seem like something that can easily be removed. Is this it?
If so any suggestions for removing it without harming the housing? It seems like something that maybe needs to be carefully cut out with a utility knife rather than being "broken" away. I think the only other option is to try to pry it off with needle nose pliers, but like I said I'm afraid I'll break more than this notch (if this is what the break-away piece is).
