Running into a situation and trying to figure out the best way to handle it.
In the pool math app my pool volume is at 11800, which I calibrated my FC chemical add based on what the pool math app suggested and then 30 mins later I tested again to make sure FC level matched.
When my water level gets low I add and my pool volume changes, which in turn affects FC chemical adds. As an example tonight I added 75 fl oz to go from 6 to 11 ppm, however after 30 mins and testing again it only raised FC to 9.5. Playing around in pool math under effects of adding I get a pool volume of 16800 gal which would match the 75 fl oz addition.
How do you all handle these variations? I feel like it would be best to just increase my pool volume in pool math app? Could it be the liquid chlorine I have be less effective due to the age or something?
