Hi guys and gals. Does anyone have an ingenious way of blocking the pool skimmer mouth while kids etc in the pool. Issue i have is when kids jumping , splashing and running round making whirlpools the weir plate gets knocked about and flaps back and forth and im worried 1. Its gets brocken off and 2. The water sloshes into skimmer mouth and debris coming back into the pool.

I too am considering this and am in the planning stage. My initial thought was finding a big enough tight foam block that I could shave and form to press fit into the skimmer opening and throat.
They make skimmer winterizing plates that rarely stay water tight for the winter, but would work awesome for what you are looking to do. You'd have to search your model but Amazon (etc) likely have one.
