We just had our pool gunited and the seat in the spa is much deeper than we asked for, about 2” low.

Can we add pebble tech to get the height up? Can they add more concrete at this point (it’s been a day since they did the concrete.)

Generally Pebbletec is 1/2” to 3/4” thick.

Talk to your builder or plaster installer about what they can do to buildup your spa seat.

Let us know what they say.

Following up in case anyone has this same question.

We are using pebble and that can be built up to about 3/4". Adjusting the spa seat will require pouring more concrete on top of the gunite and adding some metal to mechanically bond it to the shell. We waited until the shell was cured and will add the height about a week or so before pebble.
