How soon after exposed aggregate concrete pour can we install 3" brass screw in anchors for safety cover?

Planning for our spring pool renovation. We are getting mixed information on how soon after the exposed aggregate concrete mix pour date we can safely have 3" brass screw anchors drilled into the concrete. for our mesh safety cover.
Would you think it safe to drill holes in the first two weeks after concrete pour?
Any insights would be welcomed.

Whats the rush ? They need to lay the cover out for anchor placement and it's usually a fall job. Then they attach the cover afterwards and it's closed up.

Both my pools were finished in the spring and waited for the safety cover, along with many others here.

Thank you and Allen appreciate the attachment on watering the concrete. We were hoping that the Pool person we are bringing in might be able to do the anchors as well but his team will not be in town for 28 days. We know the exposed aggregate will need to cure and we should not be concerned with spalling we were wondering if anyone had experience drilling in before fully cured. After 7 days of curing alot has happened. At 14 days most of the water has come out and so less shrinkage concern. Likely we will wait until the fall and find someone locally who will do a good job drilling in the 3" brass screw anchors. Wondering your thoughts on whether a bit of epoxy glue ( medium viscosity) should be put in the hole or not. Differing opinions on that too. Could you share your thoughts - going for a great outcome.

I would not epoxy in the anchors. You want to be able to remove them if they get stuck.

If the hole is drilled the proper size the friction fit should hold it in place.
