Went to fill my pool to prepare for opening after winter and find this beauty at the top of the first step. Right along the bend from the wall to the top of the step. I have vinyl patch and glue but am I just wasting time? It’s going on nine year so I figured this day was approaching at some point but I guess you’re never ready for it when it happens. Thanks very much.

Depends how brittle your liner is.
What do you have to lose?
Put a few overlapping layers on the area and see if it holds. It may at least buy you some time to use the pool until you can replace the liner.
