How much chlorine required?

Welp … 110 gallons of LC, even for a contractor getting it at wholesale prices, has got to be costing someone more money. You’d think they’d like to improve their bottom line on that but … oh well 🤷‍♂️

Also, 110 gallons of LC adds 145ppm of salt to the water. Eventually the TDS of the pool water is going to get very high which will enhance corrosion of anything metallic in the pool. Not sure how often fresh water is added to the pool but it’s certainly something to keep an eye on. If the water stays tasting salty, you know you’ve added quite a bit.
 
Oh, and sulfuric acid is a TERRIBLE choice of acid for a gunite/plaster pool. It adds sulfates to the pool water which also increases TDS and leads to enhanced corrosion of steels as well as any concrete decking that might be around the pool. It may be cheaper than muriatic acid but it’s certainly not better.
