How long is it really taking?

We've been told it will be 2 months before they do masonry (tile and coping). All material is on hand, just waiting on the subcontractor.

Original completion date was Sept 30th.

I live in Northern Virginia. Contractor initially was building approx 25 pools/year and taking 2-3 months. Once COVID hit, everything took much longer as shown below, but contractor is now building 80 pools/year. Had lots of supply issues with pool finish, sheer descents, gas regulators, etc.

Contract signing: 06/02/20
Excavation started: 02/24/21
Water Fill: 11/23/21

Dig day - June 9th, 2021
Steel & Short Plumbing - June 10th, 2021
Gunite - June 11th - June 14th, 2021
Plaster - Nov. 13th, 2021
Start up - Nov. 19th, 2021
Pool turned over to Owner - Dec. 17th, 2021
Punch list completed - Jan. 25th, 2022

We are located in Magnolia, Texas.
