How do I fix this gap/crack?

Our pool is 16 years old and is looking awesome, but we are seeing some cracks between coping (is that even correct term) and tiles.

Live in AZ, where the temp in summer is around 110+ for almost 30+ days and is hot.

I see crickets nesting inside and I think I need to fix that gap/crack.
I just took two pics, one closeup (4inches away from crack/gap) and another 10 feet away from gap/crack.

Can any one point out how to fix these gaps/cracks??

I feel welcome already!!!!

I thought I need to use some mortar or bonding to fix this, didn't know caulking is what I need. Awesome, I have the caulking and caulking gun too. I guess I am getting into the pool this evening to fix this up.

Thank you for the quick response.

You would use a flexible caulk all around the pool.
I think I usually see polyurethane caulk as recommended.

You may want to push some backer rod in there to pack the caulking against. My has this flexible caulk all the way around. You really do not want to use motor as the deck and pool structure may move independently.

Yeah, all the pools around here smooth the mortar used to set the coping down to the tile or regroup the tile up to the coping. It lasts a few years and starts cracking from the movement. Polyurethane caulk is the right stuff. Don't use the self leveling type or it will run.
