Become a TFP SupporterI am so thankful for this site! I tell everybody about it. This was our first year with a pool. It has stayed clear all year! I knew absolutely nothing about pool chemistry….it’s just so darn easy! So thank you for all the help! So glad we didn’t waste a ton of money on buying the Frog Leap pacs.View attachment 456110
My favorite clarifier is Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl) 12.5%!Don’t add clarifier! It “gums up” and can get in and clog your filter and cause an annoying situation. Just keep testing and keeping your water in balance with liquid chlorine/bleach and you won’t need it. I’ve never used clarifier and you can see all my SPARKLE above ^^^^ ?. You don’t need it either!![]()
Absolutely gorgeous pool! I'm betting a pretty nice house their in the background as well....Lost my sun for the pictures, but..
drop 20c in deep endOut of interest, is there any way to measure this? Any optical clarity metrics?
I like to verify the main drain screws are still phillips, from the patio.Out of interest, is there any way to measure this? Any optical clarity metrics?
This last pic definitely belongs in the cool features contest!Upstate NY. A week ago today there was still some snow on the cover. Four days from today we’ll have three straight days in the 80s and the official start of summer!
Opened up today to beautiful, crystal clear, 42 degree, TFP water!

I think this might require me to wear my glasses. I have a hard time committing to that...I like to verify the main drain screws are still phillips, from the patio.![]()
