We are planning to build soon but are new to pool ownership! Would anyone be able to use their experience to give feedback on this design offered by our pool builder?

Really pretty; would need to be careful with skimmer placement given the huge yard and likelihood of leaves/grass clippings blowing around.
Fun shapes are really fun; but will make life a little harder for your robot. The ledges and steps will require manual brushing a few times a week.

Hi and welcome to TFP! That is a neat looking pool when looking down at it. Saying that there are some "weak" spots in real life. I am going to share my poor paint job to show you what I am seeing:
You will notice how I undid some of the curves. In doing so I have you a good swim lane from one end of the pool to the other. Notice also how I undid some of the decking curve. If you leave it like that it can be a mowing pain.
I LOVE the steps and the swim out as well as that bench on the far side of the pool.
Let me know what you think and why. You will not hurt my feelings. I am just showing you want I see after helping design a great many pools here on TFP. I know real life use of a pool so can help others see it.
