Hey everyone, I did not reinvent the wheel here, I used @lamerem ‘s idea to also create a homemade Intex ‘A’ Adapter.
Intex SWG Homemade Adapters
I used basically the same pieces as he did but with ABS fittings instead of electrical PVC fittings which turned out cheaper for me here in Canada. The electrical PVC fittings he bought for $3 or so dollars were $9 here. So I opted for the cheaper version of ABS. I just made them today so I haven’t tested for leaks yet. I think it was about $21 Canadian to make two adapters. The ABS parts were bought at Home Depot, and the hose adapters were bought at a local pool supply store. I bought an Intex SWG from the local want ads, luckily one intex hose was included, so I hacked the hose off and stole the threaded nuts.
Hope it helps!!
Thank you @lamerem for the great idea!!
