Hole in cover help

I was just clearing leaves and water off the top of winter cover ( I live in ny ) . I noticed to holes about a quarter in size . I peaked inside and seen a tiny amount of leaves . Water was clear . I tested and it’s at
Fc 11
Cc 0
Should I buy a new cover or just roll with it like this until spring ? It’s already cold here if that matters

If they’re where you can get to them (without dumping a bunch of junk in the pool) you could try some gorilla tape as a temporary fix.
How old is the cover? If it’s a tarp style & more than a couple years old you may wanna go ahead & get one ordered incase more holes occur as it’s usually a downhill slide at that point. Generally the consensus is with the tarp style ones is to get the cheapest one possible & just replace it every year or two. I got lucky with my last one & it barely made it 3 winters- when I was pulling it off this spring my hand went right through it, luckily it didn’t rip sooner & nullify its purpose.

It’s brand new . That’s why I don’t want to buy another one . I put some more bleach in the pool and used duct tape but gorilla tape sounds way better. I’ll go buy that instead of replacing cover . Ty

The one I see says it has an 8 yr warranty-
They are generally prorated after the 1st year but if you just got it they should replace it. Also Amazon tends to make things right if the manufacturer doesn’t. Definitely worth pursuing while you still have a chance. You can always keep the replacement for later if your patches hold.
I ordered a robelle this year from there & it was sliced inside the bag, I returned it & amazon refunded me but when I went to repurchase they had went up by 50% ! I ordered it anyway but it never arrived so I ended up with a “super guard” from a third party seller on walmart. I feel like it’s always a Crud shoot with these dang covers.
