High PH

My pool is new plaster and has been running about a month. It seems like my pH has always been a little on the high side. A couple of weeks ago I started using the cool misters to cool my water. My alkalinity is good at 80, PH >8, chlorine to high at 5. I've heard that aerating the water can cause pH problems. Suggestions?

Cool misters probably not such a big deal. Light misting is okay. It's the heavy, pulsating water pounding from bubblers, waterfalls, spillovers, etc. Now it's just the nature of new plaster curing. Patience and muriatic acid always ready when the pH tried to creep over 7.8. :whip:
