Hi all! I have been reading through posts on this forum for a week or so learning all I can about my newly installed pool. After months of puppy dog eyes from my daughters, we finally relented to install a pool. Our pool was completed on August 25th and I installed the fence (plus a retaining wall since our yard slopes a bit) that weekend, followed by landscaping stones over Labor Day weekend. Thankfully, the weather was a bit warmer at the end of August and the kids were able to swim at the end of August and over Labor Day (while I was hauling rocks). The pool builder will be closing and opening the pool next year (showing me along the way).
