Our CYA is on the high side at 90, and Total/Free Chlorine is at 10ppm. According to the CYA/chlorine chart, it sounds like that is okay but not recommended. pH is at about 7.9 (but I just added some acid to lower it), and Total Alkalinity is at about 100. My question is will it be okay for us to swim in the spa (which is connected to our pool) with the high chlorine levels, or do I need to try to lower it somehow? The weather has been fairly cold here lately with not a lot of sun, which I assume is why the chlorine hasn't come down...
