Impeller motor spins but not super freely & it kinda has a rattle.
In my attempt to open it up to investigate I could only get 1 bolt out - the other stripped out & tons of carbon fell out.
There’s an ebay guy who sells rebuilt ones for $170 - its on the watchlist
Also a local lady with a very nice looking proteus dx3 asking $250 obo - awaiting her response before I decide.

Until then Wall-e is back in action….
Apparently he had a crack in his guts that I didn’t realize which is why he would only go one direction then be stuck. I globbed some super glue on it & off he went! Heck, I may just buy a new Wall-e!

Well, the lady responded & I picked up “Roberta” 🤖 about an hour ago!

She pretty much looks brand new - especially the cable. Had to clean the inside a little with bkf for some iron stains.
Born in 2022 & has a new advanced controller instead of the basic one because the original was left out in the rain.
I just threw my pleated filter in & plugged her into mine so I didn’t have to fool with automation mode settings or mounting & she’s currently running on schedule!

So now I have a spare controller box, spare standard basket, & a spare cousin for parts.
I guess I could sell some of the things on eBay to recoup some of my losses but for now I like having spares.
