Hi, all.

My name is Jayson, and I live in Fairfield, Ohio.

My wife and I just put a 24' above-ground pool in our backyard. I was initially very resistant to the idea, mainly because of the expense and the maintenance. My wife has had a dream of owning a home with a pool. She won.

So, now we have this pool in our backyard and, admittedly, it's nice to have...

...until it started turning green. Did I say "maintenance"?

Anyway, now I'm in it for the haul, and it looks to me like there's a lot of great information on here. I've gotten "Pool School" and will definitely read it front-to-back, probably multiple times. I also saw the TFTestKits site, where I'll probably get a full-on kit. If I'm in it, I may as well go full-bore.

Anyhow, glad to be here and appreciate every little bit I learn.

Hopefully you found us before the pool went full on swamp and you dropped a bunch of money on potions from the pool store.

Sounds like you are in need of following the SLAM Process process to get it cleared back up ... and of course that requires the test kit
