I accidentally dissolved a third of a 5 pound bag of chlorine stabilizer in my pool. I thought it was Calcium chloride because the bags look so similar. I didn't realize it until I was having to brush so vigorously and so long to get it to dissolve. I always put stabilizer in a sock in the skimmer. What will this do to my pool other than make me have to keep the chlorine levels higher?

That about it. If left on the pool surface, it can stain. If you got it dissolved, no issues, just higher FC level...Link-->FC/CYA Levels
