Help with slightly cloudy water

When I opened the pool about 2 months ago it was fairly green. I did the SLAM process and had passing criteria after maybe 5-6 days. I haven't had any issues with the water this season, but I did notice that it's not quite as crystal clear as I would like. During the day it looks fine, but it's more noticeable at night. Here's my current numbers:

ph: 7.4
FC: 5
CC: 0
TA: 50
CYA: 40

My pump runs 24/7; a higher speed for maybe 8 hrs at night and then a slow speed the rest of the day. I've attached some pictures I took at night to try to illustrate. Any suggestions on how to clear it up better?

I'd try upping you FC to 8ppm, hold it there for week. Clean your filters and look for any damage to them. How's you CH look?

My FC has actually been closer to 8-10ppm all season since I had the solar cover on for most of the time so the sun wasn't hitting the water. I also cleaned my filters probably 2 weeks ago so those should be fine. Honestly I don't think I've checked my CH in 2 years since I read it was only really relevant to plaster pools. Could that impact cloudiness?

Yes it can, depending on the CH level and your pH. Are the pH and TA test results prior to or after adding chemicals? High CH can have negative impacts on you heater as well.
Recommend taking a CH reading. Please post results.

Do you use Pool Math? I see no logs.

I tossed my chemicals for CH a while back because I was under the impression they were only helpful for plaster pools (oops). I think I'll be able to borrow some from my friend in a few days to test CH.

I use pool math but only to calculate what to add, not to track a history of readings.
