Help with sawdust floating on top of pool

I recently had a tradie cut wood near my pool and extremely fine sawdust has gone in and is floating on top of the water and appears to be too fine for even the cartridge filter (zx100). Filter is 3 years old
Any tips of how to get this out? I have heard tennis balls could help to collect oils that sit on top would they also assist with this?

If you can see it, your filter will take care of it.

Do you have a skimmer(s)?

Cheers. Might change my cartridge filter. I have a skimmer box if that is what you mean

3 years is not that old for a filter, i would not replace it unless you think it is under sized and want to go longer between cleanings. Eventually the sawdust will coagulate inside the filter and clear up, after all there are some cellulose products that are actually made to be added to filters although not cartridge filters. Bottom line I am with Dave the filter will do the job eventually.

Can you just use a handheld skimmer to take it out?
