Help with Pool Light

I inherited the pool when we purchased the home a little over a year ago and didnt realize the light didnt work until after closing. The previous home owner had a flower pot covering the exposed wires and I just never really took the time to mess with it. Now that ive found this site and and have a renewed love my pool can someone point me in the right direction to get the light going again - if even possible?. We took a flashlight to the end of the fiber and the pool did light up.

Is there only one light in pool, usually older fiber optic systems used multiple lights. Can you take a picture of the light in pool so we can help further

Looks to me like you just need to put a new illuminator there to get going again assuming the electrical is good.

Yup there is only one light in the pool / I'll grab a pic if I can. One of my best buddies is an electrican so I'm not worried about standard electrical but neither one of us know anything about pool lighting

illuminator was the part name i needed!

i guess my next question is will it be more cost efficient to replace that or should i consider a retrofit to LED?
