Help with coping/deck separation?

Hey guys, I’ve noticed my brick coping/concrete deck has gained a little more separation than I remember ever seeing before. What do you guys think is going on and how big of a deal is it at the moment? We plan to get the gunite re sealed in a few years, new water line tile and things like that so that would be when I’d like to look into this. I’m just curious what’s happening so I can be prepared.

Moisture is getting under the deck work and the soil is expanding to lift the deck.
At this moment it appears to be a small amount of movement but will only get worse in time if moisture is still allowed to reach the substrate under the deck.
