This is a new above ground pool install. Base is vermiculite/portland mix, level across the pool within 1/8". The liner is sitting on the vermiculite flat bottom. Pool was setup yesterday 6/10. Liner is a unibead liner, that fit will on install, flat on the floor almost to the foam coves. Upon starting to fill and with ~1" of water, the liner was laying nicely on the bottom. Now with ~16" of water, I am noting the walls are being buckled down in some areas, like the liner is too tight and pulling down. I did fill overnight, it was 72* when we started filling and dropped to 64* overnight.
I'm at a loss of what's going on. Did I make an error by putting the liner direct on the vermiculite floor and not building up additional floor height inside the pool, creating too much pressure on the liner? Was it simply too cold while filling, and the liner could not stretch?
I've stopped filling, and started to pump water out to relieve pressure. Any ideas?
