I have a large pool it is a lazy L that the biggest part is 10X20. I have an intelliflo pump that I never turn off. I also have a polaris with a standard 3/4 booster pump. The water is really hot and I have read that a fountain will help cool the water and look pretty too. There are 2 lines coming in from the pump and one more with the polaris fitting connected to the cleaner. When I put my thumb over one of the regular inputs from the intelliflo pump it will stop so I think it is all volume and no pressure. I read another entry here that said it wasn't good to connect a fountain to the booster pump.
