So I have a BLACK Polaris 280 cleaner and I thought it was pretty cool until the cleaner detached itself from the hose and the hose proceeded to beat itself up against my Aruba Sky colored quartzscape plaster leaving black spots. At first I panicked and thought it was algae then realized what happened. Is there any way to get these marks off? I tried my fingernail and that does nothing. Then scrubbed with the brush i use everyday to brush the pool. Doesn't budge. Just to note, I did not pick this colored cleaner out. The PB made that decision his own.

If that happened in my pool, I think I'd try 600 grit wet-n-dry sandpaper on it when the brush didn't work.
