help - i've been going at this pool hard and cant get it clear

hello all,

I have been adding chemicals(doing SLAM), with liquid chlorine, powder chlorine, and clarifier, changed the sand, but the pool is still green with algae. Nothing is helping. I am CPO Certified.

Any ideas?

Welcome to TFP! We better confirm a few things first:
- Are you working in the industry as your username suggests?
- The TFP forum almost never recommends using a clarifier in the treatment of algae.
- What test kit are you using?
- Please update your signature with all of your pool and equipment info if this is your pool and not a customers.

The SLAM Process works, but the instructions must be followed to the letter and until all 3 SLAM criteria have been completed.
