Hi! This is our first pool replaster. We purchased a home with an old pool and we had to do a lot of work on the pool.
For plaster, We chose mini pebble from NPT stonescapes with hokitika gorge color. They plastered this morning and this definitely does not look like the hokitika gorge. They do the acid wash tomorrow morning. Will the acid wash completely transform this color from gray to blue??
I think this was something other than NPT. For one, there were no labeled bags with an NPT logo nor were there any bags or buckets with the color marked on it.
PB wasn’t here during the plastering and when I asked the guy doing it about the color he it seemed like he had picked up some materials based on a photo that was sent to him by my PB and was trying to color match it. The pic on the phone was taken from a brochure so it obviously looked much different and darker. Please let me know your thought??

Also how does this plaster to pebble ratio look to you?

Thanks in advance for all help!97A586DB-3DCE-480B-A5A4-2D47F715625E.jpegwet plaster

Did you happen to take any pictures of bags of aggerate the crew brought to the site? That should indicate mfg and color.
I see you said there were none so that is concerning.
You will get some color change after acid wash as it removes a layer of the cream that is currently shown.

It appears from your pictures provided that the base plaster color is grey, with the acid wash tomorrow it will bring out more of the surface color of the pebbles by removing the thin coat of butter that is covering it now. I feel that from the pictures, the base color is not going to change to the same blue that is presented in the photo sent to the PB.

The pictures have not been taken close enough to completely determine the pebble ratio.
