HELP... GENERIC T-15 SALT CELL SAYS NO SALT ALTHOUGH LEVEL IS ACTUALLY 3000

Salt cell not working due to reading of no or low salt although actually 3000.
Only about one year old...
Internals all clean, no debris or deposits...
Is it due to the cell or control module built into the Aqua Logic?
How to troubleshoot?

take the cell to a leslies pool store and have them check out the cell...
