Hello, TFP! I'm a new pool owner, having bought a house last summer with a 24' above ground pool. I've really enjoyed learning how to maintain my own pool, and TroubleFreePool has been an invaluable resource. I’m so glad this community exists! The TFP method is easy to understand and inexpensive, and it’s kept me from falling down pricey pool store rabbit holes. The Pool Math app is also incredibly useful.
The pool is entering its 23rd season this year with its original pump and filter. It’s older for sure, but it looks good and seems to have plenty of life in it! The previous owners took good care of their pool and seemed to enjoy it immensely, and I’ve gotta say, we’re enjoying it immensely, as well.
I positively can’t wait to open it in the spring!
