Hello from East Texas! We are going on season 6 with our backyard pool. After our first summer in Texas we realized a pool was a must! So, we've always had some kind of pool. But, this is our first inground pool. Here are some details:

• 40k gallons
• IC-60 SWG
• Big sand filter (not sure the specs)
• A Polaris booster pump that died this winter. We've since replaced with a Doheny's Dolphin Mytronics Advantage Pro (someone needs to talk to these pool robot folks about the concept of "brand confusion"). The robot does a much better job. But, I'm still on the fence on if I'm going to be OK with having to expend effort now to vacuum. Our old Polaris 380 was more fire-and-forget. But, it didn't do nearly as good a job as the robot.

I stumbled on TFP this year and gave it the all important bookmark in my browser. Seems like you guys really know your stuff. I'm using the Pool Math app and used my TF-100 for the first time today. For context, my highest chemistry grade was a D in high school (I never took Chemistry in college thank goodness). So, my Walter White skills are very suspect. But, this kit has simple instructions and is easy to follow. It's something my youngest daughter can help me with as well (she is our budding scientist).
