I live in North Texas and just went through our first year of pool ownership. Lot's of algae problems and problems keeping chlorine level up. We have a Chlorine in ground gunite pool. Looking forward to learning a lot from this group.

Welcome! I’m in The Colony. I use a salt system but definitely recommend the SLAM. I get my liquids at Home Depot. Take any advice from Leslie’s and toss it
Out. Get your own test kit and you’re in business! After you learn it, it takes me 10 mins a month maybe to manage my chems.
