Only during the day. Running it overnight gets really expensive and you don't get a lot of heat gain in the early and late season when the temps drop overnight. The heat pumps are most efficient when the outside temp is higher, so you don't want to be running them when the temp is below 60-65. You definitely want to use a solar cover in the early and late season especially to prevent all that heat from going away overnight.
