Hayward T-cell-9 error using OmniLogic

I've suddenly run into a Hayward chlorinator error that can't be cleared. The OmniLogic alarm states "T-Cell High Current/Salt Chlorinator1". I've attached a screen shot of OmniLogic for reference sake. See bottom left of .jpg file with alarm symbol and red text.
Any Forum members familiar with this alarm and/or how to fix/clear it?

Below is screen shot using diagnostics screen. I did take water sample to LPS and it tested at 3,300 ppm (although Omni is reading it at 7,601. Thanks for reply to post.

The cell is 11 months old. This alarm was in fact triggered day after 17 lbs. of Calcium Chloride was added to pool water. I suppose your thought is that adding Calcium suddenly triggered alarm because it registered excessive amount of calcium in filtration system? I will clean cell. Is Omni/T-Cell smart enough to reset itself or do I need to somehow force a reset of cell?

Calcium chloride is a salt like sodium chloride. Both dissolve into component ions when added to the water.

Since both have chloride, they create high levels of chloride that can overcharge the cell if the concentration gets in the suction like going into the main drain.

When adding chemicals, make sure that the cell is off and the chemicals get well mixed.

Check the cell to make sure that it's clean then turn the salt system back on and recheck the diagnostic readings.

The alarm should clear on its own. If not, go to alarm list to check status and clear manually.

James.....cleaned cell with normal muriatic/water solution and the alarm cleared per your instructions. I want to personally thank you as I had reached out to several pool resources with no explanation or solution to problem.
