Hayward Super Pump VS 2602 - Error 03

Hi. Yesterday I did my normal back wash and when I went to switch the pump back on (I use the start/stop button on the pump) the pump wasn’t happy and it didn’t immediately fire back up. It eventually displayed an Error 03. This error code means that the AC main voltage is too low on startup according to the manual.

The pump was new 2 years ago and it has always worked perfectly. This is the first time I’ve had a problem.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I would start with the error. Measure the mains voltage with a multi-meter at the pump terminals and see if it is too low. If it is ok, then cut power to the motor for 30 seconds (i.e. hard reset) and then try it again.
