Hi everyone, I'm seeing water accumulate underneath the pump and I'm guessing it's time for a fix. I've never done this before so I wanted to have others weigh in before I start the process. I have a basic Hayward sand filter for 24000 gallon pool. Two skimmers and a central drain with a single return line feeding 3 openings. The motor is relatively new, having been purchased by the previous owner in 2014. It's a shame because I'm not sure I really need 1.5 HP, probably eating electricity.
Am I looking for something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Gasket-ring-...qid=1527526741&sr=8-4&keywords=hayward+sp2600
I'm also noticing air bubbles in the basket connected to the motor, I hope that's from the same thing because I just replaced the gaskets on that, the chlorinator and the filter.
Any help is appreciated!
