Hayward HeatPro trying to turn on

When I push the button on the upper left or upper right, it keeps defaulting back to off. Not sure why it doesn’t turn on. This may be the second time I’ve used this heater in three years. I have everything turned on, on the pentair easy touch.

Figure it out. Had to push and hold the button on the upper left for about three seconds.
