Hayward DE4820 Main Body Seal Leak

I just installed this filter. It has a new(new to me at least) 3 piece clamping system. I have to say, it is pretty nice compared to what was on my Pentair and previous Hayward.

But... It's leaking a little. It is spec'd at 150 inch pounds torque. So I'm kinda afraid to lean on it a lot.

What is you folks experience with this clamping system and how much "crank" does it need? And can you goof it up with too much torque?

I torque mine to specifications. My 4820 is 11 years old and
needed a new seal. Be aware that there are two different
seals for that model. Be sure to get the right one. Once the seal
was replaced the leak stopped.

I went to my pool dealer. When I was looking for a new seal I found
out that there are two different seals. I purchased it at my pool store.
I have not found the receipt to tell you which one is the right one.
The difference if I remember is one has metal reinforcement in it.

Hmm, the one I ordered is stated to have Metal reinforcement.
