After 9 years, the circular DE filter clamp of my Hayward housing was corroding badly. The factory powder coating was peeling. Replacement costs online run around $300.00. I took mine to a local powder coating shop. They media blasted and powder coated the clamp for $100.00 out the door. I should be good for another 9 years, longer perhaps if I treat the clamp with a corrosion inhibitor spray.
