Hayward Blue Essence not reading salt not producing

Been having issues with the SWG reading low salt then no salt. Replaced original cell and still having the same problems. Replaced the SWG mother board same issues.

The Hayward Blue Essence (serial#2A17074-100337) SWG was installed in 2017.

T-3 Cell replaced with another T-3 Cell 2023, Serial # 3E20164-701599

Motherboard replaced 2023 along with flow switch.

Salinity tested with K1766 came out at 4400, tested twice.

System always has power, got rid of time after Irmaria in late 2017.

Been keeping pool clear with Bleach, Baking soda and Muratic. Did a SLAM 2 ago and have not had anything significant drops.

Sounds like your new cell is bad.

Take it to a Pool Store who can test Hayward cells for a test and warranty claim.

You need to lower the actual salt level in your pool to below 4000, preferably around 3000, by draining water.

Sounds like your new cell is bad.

Take it to a Pool Store who can test Hayward cells for a test and warranty claim.

Then you need to buy a new cell.

Keep my salt higher this time of year for rainy season.

High salt levels cause high amps which cause high heat which damages components and the board in Hayward SWGs.

Amps over 8 will cause the SWG to shutdown to protect itself.

You should not have salt over 4,000 with a Hayward system.

Where did you get it from?

Bought online, can't find who I bought it from. Was supposed to be new, it's been over a year.
