Hello, I have a 15x26 semi inground pool running a hayward aq-trol-rj salt system. Pool and set up is one year old. The cell started acting up and not reading salt correctly. Then just stopped making chlorine. I bought a generic salt cell for $300. And it works but not reading salt correct.
I tried the reset turn to auto wait for click then push diagnostic till get to -salt and wait till it gets to my reading then super chlorine to auto.
Well, my digital reader says 2700 but the hayward says 1900, I tried the reset and it will not start counting from 3200 like all videos say. It just starts at 1900.
So is there a way to by pass the salt reading so it will just run and make chlorine when the pool is on. I know there was a way to do it on Intex. Just not sure on this hayward.
Oh as this is 1 year old. I'm being told it's not covered as my pool installer installed in wrong location.
