It’s hazardous waste collection day here, so I’m finally getting rid of all the worthless (to me at least) pool chemicals left by the previous owner when we bought our house two years ago. Floculants, clarifiers, copper-based algaecides, water conditioners, trichlor, dichlor, cal hypo, and something called “salt water enhancer.”



In the words of Dr. King Schultz in Django Unchained:

Normally I would say "Auf wiedersehen," but since what "auf wiedersehen" actually means is "'till I see you again", and since I never wish to see you again, to you, sir, I say goodbye!

I don't even want to imagine all the money spent (wasted) on those potions and lotions. Geesh!
